Tyler R. Barrett
Tyler R. Barrett is the Owner and Attorney at Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions. With 10 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and elder law, Tyler is dedicated to helping individuals and families secure their legacies for generations to come.
Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He served as the Articles Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review and authored “Long-Term Care Planning for Oklahoma’s Farmers and Ranchers,” published in the February 2024 issue of the Oklahoma Bar Journal. Additionally, Tyler is a faculty member and frequent presenter at the National Business Institute, providing continuing education for legal and financial professionals.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Tyler enjoys golfing, running, skiing, and reading. He is an active member of All Souls’ Episcopal Church, serving as a lay reader, and sits on the Board of Directors at Aging Services, Inc. Tyler also dedicates his time as an alumni advisor for the Gamma Rho Zeta chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.
Tyler’s philosophy is rooted in his personal experiences. He believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy. Drawing on his background, Tyler focuses on understanding the hopes, dreams, and fears of his clients to create tailored solutions. He employs a four-part process to ensure that each estate plan is comprehensive and customized to meet the unique needs of every client.
Matti Barrett
Matti Barrett is the Chief Experience Officer for Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions. She joined the Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions team in March of 2020. In her role as Chief Experience Officer, Matti is responsible for cultivating a client-centered culture. Before individuals and families even walk through the doors of Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions, Matti coordinates with other financial professionals to promote awareness of estate planning. As part of those efforts, Matti oversees the Firm’s digital content distribution. Once individuals and families become clients, Matti works with them throughout the estate planning process, from the initial meeting to document execution and follow-up. She also leads the Firm’s Client Maintenance Program.
Prior to joining Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions, Matti was an Executive Assistant for the CEO of an Edmond, Oklahoma marketing company. With her background as the Feature Twirler for Oklahoma State University and competing in the Miss Oklahoma Pageant, Matti brings a unique perspective to the world of estate planning. Matti is married to Attorney Tyler R. Barrett. She is grateful to work side-by-side with her husband and believes that the law is an opportunity to serve not only individual clients but also the broader Norman and Oklahoma City communities.
Kimberly Spencer
Meet Kimberly Spencer, a fantastic person with a story that combines the simplicity of rural Nebraska with the lively atmosphere of Oklahoma City. In her early years, Kimberly grew up on a dairy farm, learning about hard work from her grandfather and father. This taught her the value of dedication from a young age.
A proud graduate of Yukon High School, Kimberly has 17 years of experience as a residential Realtor in Central Oklahoma. During that time, she has played a crucial role in building legacies for many Oklahomans. Her dedication and skills have made a lasting impact on the real estate scene in the area.
In November 2023, Kimberly became the Director of Operations for Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions – extending her passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives beyond real estate. As Director of Operations, Kimberly oversees the day-to-day activities of the firm. Through streamlining firm practices and optimizing workflows, Kimberly plays a pivotal role in helping Barrett Legacy Estate Solutions effectively serve its clients.
Kimberly is a proud graduate of Yukon High School. Beyond her work, Kimberly finds joy in various hobbies. Gardening, baking, and the occasional shoe shopping spree are among her favorite activities.
